How Cost per Unit reveals your true consumable spend per site
Every product has a Cost per Unit — what you actually pay to purchase one Case, Gallon, or item. When a site requests supplies and you click Fulfill, the system calculates Cost per Unit × Qty Requested = the exact dollar amount that visit consumed. Across a month, summing all fulfilled requests per site shows you precisely how much each location is consuming in consumables — independent of labor. This lets you spot high-spend sites (medical facilities burn through disinfectant faster than offices), renegotiate purchasing volumes, or adjust the monthly supply allowance in future bids to protect your margin.
